- • Developer game zip assets, video previews & PDF manuals for game publishing
User-Generated Content & Social Data
- • Uploaded video reels, post media, and captions
- • Comments, post likes, and game favorites / library saves
- • Followers, following lists, and user block preferences
- • Real-time chat messages and unread counter badges
Device & Push Notification Data
- • FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) device tokens for push alerts
- • Device model, OS version, IP address & network tokens
- • Games played, high scores, level progression & leaderboard rankings
- • Authentication session cookies & local storage preferences
2. Device Camera & Photo Gallery Access Transparency
Why PlayByT Requests Camera & Photo Gallery / Media Storage Permissions:
- Profile Customization: To pick an avatar image from your photo library or take a photo with your camera.
- Social Uploads: To select or record gameplay clips, video reels, and image posts to share with the community.
- Game Publishing: To upload game thumbnail artwork, gameplay video previews, and PDF documentation.
- Explicit User Consent Only: Permissions are requested dynamically in-app only when you initiate an upload action.
- No Silent or Background Access: PlayByT NEVER accesses your camera, microphone, or media files in the background.
- No Media Scraping: We only process and store the specific file(s) you select and confirm for upload.
- Secure Media Hosting: Uploaded media files are stored on secure, encrypted cloud servers with access control.
- Revocation: You can revoke camera or photo storage access anytime in your iOS/Android device settings.
3. Game Publishers & Monetization Terms
PlayByT provides a developer portal allowing independent game creators to publish HTML5/WebGL games:
- 30% Platform Share: PlayByT retains a 30% platform fee cut on all game publishing monetization, in-game sales, and revenue share.
- 70% Developer Payout: Developers receive 70% of gross earnings generated by their games.
- Publisher Data Collected: Developer name, contact email, country/city, game technology stack, and payout details.
- Review & Moderation: Uploaded game ZIP files and assets are scanned for security compliance prior to approval.
- Intellectual Property Ownership: Game creators retain full copyright and ownership of their uploaded game assets.
- Distribution License: By publishing, developers grant PlayByT a non-exclusive license to host and stream their games.
- Fair Payout Processing: Payouts are calculated monthly and distributed securely to verified developer accounts.
- Game Removal Rights: Developers can request game removal or updates through publisher support at any time.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Verify identity & authenticate mobile app & web sessions
- Display social gaming feeds, video reels, and community comments
- Process high scores, level achievements & global leaderboard rankings
- Enforce community guidelines, moderate content & block abusive users
- Deliver real-time chat messages and FCM push notification alerts
- Process game publisher applications and 70/30 revenue share payouts
- Prevent security breaches, spamming, cheating, and unauthorized access
- Provide account recovery, parental controls & age restriction enforcement
5. Data Security & Third-Party Protection
- HTTPS / TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit across mobile & web
- Password protection using strong bcrypt hashing algorithms
- We NEVER sell your personal information or media to third parties
- Protected PostgreSQL database infrastructure with strict access controls
- FCM push notification tokens used exclusively for service alerts
- No third-party ad tracking of private user chat messages or media
- Automated rate limiting & DDoS protection on all API endpoints
- Instant token revocation upon user logout or password update
6. Your Rights & Permanent Account Deletion
In compliance with Google Play Store Developer Policies, Apple App Store Guidelines, GDPR, and CCPA, you have complete ownership and control over your personal data:
- Instant In-App Deletion: Open PlayByT Mobile App -> Profile -> Settings -> Account & Security -> Delete Account.
- Web Deletion Portal: Visit playbyt.com/delete-account to request instant permanent account erasure online.
- Complete Data Erasure: Deletion permanently purges account credentials, profile avatar, posts, reels, comments, likes, chat messages, and saved games.
- Revocation of all active session tokens and push notification registrations.
- Right to data portability (request copy of your data)

7. Children's Privacy & Safety (COPPA / GDPR-K)
PlayByT is committed to child safety. Accounts for users under 13 require parent-managed account registration with appropriate play timers and restricted features.
